Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Excelsior TEAM Academy in Corona, a California Charter School. Not only is Excelsior TEAM Academy a valuable program which meets the need of the district and community, and we will continue to provide a safe learning environment that will challenge students to reach their full potential by offering a variety of programs and opportunities unique to our campus. Excelsior TEAM Academy in Corona also provides an excellent educational program as recognized by our 6-year Western Association of Schools and College’s accreditation term. At Excelsior, we provide students the opportunity to get involved in elective programs directly influenced by their Personal Life Plan, these opportunities include video game design, athletics, photography, financial algebra, art, and many more.
The faculty and staff welcome parent involvement and as a requirement of the programs we ask that parents commit to their child’s education and attend conferences and parent nights as necessary. We also offer opportunities for parent input as part of our Parent Advisory Council, LCAP and ELAC programs. At Excelsior we will continue to institute Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies (PBIS) which allows for us to correct, encourage and teach students how to become better citizens yet still provide an opportunity for accountability. At Excelsior TEAM Academy in Corona, we are committed to not only educating your child but to also providing valuable lifelong skills that may be used after high school; as such we will be instilling pride in learning, pride in themselves and pride in their community. Our dedicated staff are eager to begin the school year working with our students and parents through facilitation, field trips, activities, athletics and on campus clubs.
I would like to close by inviting all stakeholders and community members to come out and be a part of the Eagles family! I am honored to be given this opportunity as your site principal and I will be here to support you and your family during your secondary years. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please request the parent volunteer packet, as there are plenty of opportunities available!
