Welcome to Excelsior’s Redlands campus! 

We are excited to begin our second year at the Redlands Campus and serve the families of Redlands and all neighboring communities! 

Our primary goal at Excelsior is to prepare students to be successful adults with the support and guidance from our experienced, credentialed teachers and facilitators. Each student is assigned to a facilitator. Facilitator’s assist with connecting the student to additional educational supports throughout their campus.  All students are assigned high school A-G UC approved coursework to prepare students for admission into the university system.  Through our dual enrollment partnership with a local community college, the student may take advantage of reserved courses and guaranteed enrollment tuition free! We assist the student with the enrollment process and guide the selection of appropriate coursework. This is a great way to get a head-start in completing required general education college courses, while saving thousands on future college tuition and material fees. 

Excelsior is a parent choice school, which means parents can choose Excelsior, regardless of their place of residence. We provide each student with the necessary tools to be engaged in their learning, explore future career opportunities, and have some flexibility in their schedule. All students are given a Chromebook during their enrollment at Excelsior to access their curriculum.  We have a variety of opportunities for students to engage in their education, whether they choose to complete their schooling independently at home or attend classes on the campus. Excelsior provides extra-curricular activities and leadership opportunities to all students. These opportunities include Leadership/ASB, Yearbook/Photography, Intro to Theatre Production, Cyber Security CTE program, and other electives that are being developed this year. Students can also participate in career exploration, financial aid and college application workshops, college dual enrollment classes, health & wellness club, reward trips, student recognition award ceremonies, and clubs that will be formed based on student interest.

Mrs. Leti Diaz 

Autobiography 

Leti Diaz is the Principal at Excelsior’s Redlands campus. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at California State University of San Bernardino and her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. Mrs. Diaz began her career at Excelsior in 1998 as an Office Assistant and moved her way through a variety of positions as she continued her education and earned her degrees. Mrs. Diaz taught multiple subjects in grades 7^th through 12^th, and she became an instructional leader and mentor to new teachers. She began her Principal role in 2011, when she opened the first campus in the Inland Empire, in the city of Norco. She transitioned to the Ontario Campus in 2016 and created a successful partnership with Chaffey college, that guaranteed Excelsior students tuition free enrollment into college courses. It provided students the opportunity to complete most of their general education college requirements prior to high school graduation. Mrs. Diaz has over 10 years of experience as a principal and is looking forward to working with the students of Redlands to create new educational experiences and career exploration opportunities.
