San Bernardino County Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Eunice Chae attended Excelsior Victorville campus. She has been an active member of the student body serving in student government as Vice President and Secretary. Eunice served as Parliamentarian as a member of NHS and was heavily involved in Model United Nations at Victor Valley College, elected to their governance board and traveling to compete in collegiate model UN conferences. Eunice has completed 30 college courses and is graduating with an academic GPA of 4.70. Eunice is a member of the Victor Valley College Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Eunice graduates’ high school with an associate degree in English and an associate degree in Political Science and a Pathway to Law Certificate. She is a nationally published author, poet, and journalist, a 2021 Nevada/California Phi Theta Kappa Poet Laureate, and has won multiple PTK writing competitions for her longform journalism and political research. She has been accepted to 22 of the most prestigious universities in the country including Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, Rice, Vanderbilt, UCLA, and UC Berkely. She has most recently been awarded the coveted Gates Scholarship, 1 of 300 in the nation. Eunice will major in political science and/or international relations with the hope to go to law school and eventually work in political law as a federal judge.

Camila Pippens attended Excelsior Victorville campus. Camila has been taking advantage of dual enrollment since her seventh-grade year, completing 98 college credits. Camila graduates with an academic GPA of 4.53 and has been accepted to the University of California Berkely. At UCB, Camila will major in computer science. Camila has used her love for academics to help others through tutoring and volunteering for several Victor Valley College study-a-thons in mathematics. In her free time, Camila likes to express her creativity through a digital art, short film and music productions. Camila loves to hang-out with her family watching movies.
